Mayhoola for Investments S.P.C., a company from Qatar has acquired Valentino Fashion Group S.p.A at an undisclosed amount. According to some sources, the amount is about $856 million. The company Mayhoola is quite exited about the fashion house Valentino for it’s brand value. They are in praise of the brand’s creativity and undisputed prestige in the fashion sphere. Stefano Sassi, CEO of Valentino is delighted with this development.
A few words on the Man behind the brand - Valentino Garavani
A man known as just Valentino in the fashion circle is admired for his creations of stylish designer clothes. Born on May 11, 1932 in Lombardy, northern Italy, Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani is mostly known for his romantic red carpet gowns. He started his career as apprentice at Jean Dessès and eventually made his own brand. He was awarded the prestigious Neiman Marcus Award for his infamous 'no-colour collection.
